If you notice anything missing from the above table, then please let me know in the comments section below.

It’s quite interesting that 48 London Bus routes will be having new buses; this shows that competitive tender has made it easier for London Buses to have new buses at the start of the new contracts.

Here’s a news update from LOTS:

1) After the tragic accident involving tram 2551 on 9th November, tram service resumed to all destinations east of East Croydon Station at about midday on Friday 18th. The temporary bus replacements remained in being through the 18th and are also on standby for Saturday 19th.

2) New buses for London continue to filter into service -  LTs at SF, EHs and MHVs at PM, WHVs at MW and AF, SEe’s at RA, VWHs at HD -and three more of what would have been Alperton’s DELs have been added at Uxbridge.  The new E20Ds for Abellio route H20 and new StreetLites for London General route 39 are delivered for their contract renewals from the 19th but are still awaiting entry into service.

3) Substantial route changes in London have been rare in recent years but from the 19th the 436 was diverted as planned at Vauxhall to run to Battersea Park instead of Paddington and the 452 is extended up Wandsworth Road to Vauxhall.  Two more Friday & Saturday night services (307, 319) due to the ‘Night Tube’ programme, began on 18/19th, leaving just one (H32) of the initial batch of routes, due to start on 16th December.

As always, I invite you to follow me on Twitter and Google Plus which is @CLondoner92

  1. I wonder if the passengers on the 133 will notice the different bus fleets?

Its good to see more of the ADL 400HCity buses getting a look-in, even they are only sharing the service with other bus types.

In the meantime, I wish there were more of the promised SRM's on the 13. Should be six - not just one!

    1. Hello CityTransportInfo,

I honestly don't think the passengers using route 133 will notice the difference with the bus fleets. As long it says 133 on the blind, they will know that's the bus they need to be on.

Right now, according to London Vehicle Finder, all six SRM's are on route 13.
