All the routes are retained by Go Ahead London, but the majority of the routes are new Euro VI hybrid buses. Since the New Routemaster design has evolved, we now have the Volvo SRM so the question is will Go Ahead London purchase these buses for their routes or revert to ordering conventional hybrid buses, or even the Enviro400H City?

With the single decker buses, they should have been awarded with the battery electric single deck buses in order to help combat diesel emissions.

Below is a list of routes which are due to convert to diesel-electric hybrid buses.

This was just a quick update on the Hybrid Bus situation.

Finally, I'd like to mention that I wrote an article about the competing new Iconic bus designs such as the Volvo SRM and Enviro400H City, the problem is though that TFL won’t buy them because ultimately it's down to the decision of the bus company to buy them. We'll have to wait and see what happens, and we may never know whether Go Ahead London might buy them.
