Proposed changes for London Bus route 31

This is a quick news update; TfL is proposing to make changes to London Bus route 31 near Camden Town.

From TfL consultation

The London Borough of Camden is proposing changes to the highway at Bayham Street impacting on routes 31, N28 and N31. The changes would affect how route 31 runs through the area.

The proposals put forward by the borough, includes banning the right turn from Pratt Street into Camden High Street. Route 31 is the only bus route that currently makes this turn. In order for the scheme to progress, route 31 would need to be re-routed meaning it would have to turn right into Greenland Street instead of Pratt Street from Bayham Street.

Routes 31, N28 and N31 would now start from stop (Z1) at the north end of Bayham Street, as stop (U) will no longer be in use.

The consultation closes on 23rd October 2017
