2015 prices for tour buses in London

NOTE: Please read the latest article where I forgot to mention about the prices for 'City Tour London.'

This is a follow up to my previous article which I wrote in April, 2014.

I am writing this to show the comparative prices of various sightseeing tour operations between different private companies. I am also comparing them to London Transport Bus services', because not everyone can afford to use the open top bus services.

Two former bendy bus routes to be served by New Routemasters (Routes 12 & 149)

Routes 12 and 149 are to be served by New Routemasters.
According to London Bus Routes, it says “Route 12 - New bus for London double deckers introduced. Expected Date: March 2015.” I think these new buses will start in late March because the New Routemasters are still being delivered to Bow Garage for route 15.
LOTS have reported that Route “149 re-awarded to Arriva London North with New Routemasters, PVR (Peak Vehicle Requirement) 38, start date 17 October 2015.” This seems a long time to wait for the users of route 149 to have New Routemaster buses.

In late 1994 the separate London Buses' business units were sold off to private ownership which also meant that the routes were tendered off to private operating companies to operate under a concession for London Transport.
What deregulation means: the power to create and maintain

Electric buses will fully serve London Buses route 312 for the first time

TFL has announced that Arriva London have been rewarded the contract to operate London Buses' route 312. It will also become the first route to be entirely operated by electric buses.

The new contract commences in September 2015 with new Electric buses. The official date for route 312’s conversion has yet to be confirmed, but is expected later this year.
