New tender awards for London Bus
routes have just come in with big retains for London United, London General,
Metrobus and Quality Line.
LBSL
intends to enter into new contracts for the following routes with the operators
listed below:

Contracts
will commence on the following dates:
21st
October 2017: Route 220
11th
November 2017: Routes 33 & 419
18th
November 2017: Route 470
9th
December 2017: Routes 88, 170 & 355
3rd
February 2018: Route 118
Worth noting: London United and
Quality Line are owned by RATP-Dev whereas Metrobus and London General are
owned by Go-Ahead Group.
The only hybrid from the new contracts
is on route 88 because they will continue to use the three-door two-staircase
hybrid New Routemaster buses.
