Recently, Wrightbus unveiled their new product the Streetdeck Electroliner BEV at the ITT Hub event in Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre which was held on 30th June and 1st July 2021. Wrightbus have relaunched their website to reveal their new zero-emission products on the same day of the event; they have also given a new name for their double deck hydrogen bus which is Streetdeck Hydroliner FCEV.

This will give Metroline an option to purchase or lease the new Streetdeck Electroliner BEV for their new route 204 contract by next year. The other double deck electric models avaliable in the UK market are the BYD/ADL Enviro400EV City and Switch Mobility Metrodecker EV. These manufacturers also demonstrated their electric buses at the ITT Hub event on the same days.
