A recent London Bus tender award has confirmed route 111 (Kingston to Heathrow Airport via Hounslow) will convert to new double-deck electric buses by next year.
LBSL intends to enter into new contracts for the following routes with the operators listed below:

30th April 2022: Routes 111 & U10.
28th May 2022: Route 177.
30th July 2022: Route 613.
The make and model of the new double-deck electric buses for route 111 is unconfirmed at the moment. Bus operator Abellio can choose to use a fleet of BYD ADL Enviro400EV City, Switch Mobility Metrodecker EV or Wright Streetdeck BEV for their new route contract.
