Singapore Unveils New Electric Bus Features: What Can TfL and the UK Learn?

As we are in November 2026, Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) has unveiled new features for its latest fleet of electric buses to improve safety for passengers and other road users. Notably, several of these features draw inspiration from Transport for London’s (TfL) Bus Safety Standards.

The move supports plans for half the public bus fleet to be electric by 2030 and all buses to use cleaner energy by 2040. www.lta.gov.sg/content/ltag...
