A brief update on my previous article; I've realised the Mayor has answered a question in regards to the open boarding buses such as the bendy bus.

There will not be a review of past decisions as articulated buses stopped operating some years ago and there are no current plans to re-introduce them. The design and make-up of the fleet can change, however, to reflect the requirements and expectations of customers.
If the New Routemaster (NRM) changeover to front door only boarding on all NRM routes has become successful with minimal fare evasion, I predict TfL could retain the use of 3 door buses to allow faster alighting from the middle and rear doors; this is my view on this.
I know I haven't been posting very much due to personal reasons but you may see I've been posting links to news releases from various manufacturers, bus companies and transport authorities on my Twitter page.
As the rollout of 3-door, 2-staircase hybrid New Routemaster buses completed during early 2018, we will now seeing more routes converting to zero emission battery electric and hydrogen buses in the new year (2020).
I wish my readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
