I'm glad to see that the new route contracts awarded to bus operating companies will use new zero-emission electric buses instead of existing diesel and hybrid buses. This is the way forward as new zero-emission bus orders help maintain jobs for bus manufacturing.
I believe TfL should announce the tender awards in their press releases in which their predecessor London Transport previously did during the 1990s as they announced new low floor buses which were beneficial for wheelchair, disabled and older bus users.
As this is another short article announcing the new London Bus Tender Awards, I'll wrap up with a roundup of my tweets posted on Twitter/X.
