The recent London Bus tender awards have announced that Route 18/N18 has been retained by RATP London United.
LBSL intends to enter into a new contract for the following route with the operator listed below:
Route 18/N18
Retained by: RATP London United
Peak Vehicle Requirement: [to be commenced]
Vehicles: Double-deck [to be commenced]
Contract Start date: 9th November 2024
Contract End Date: [to be commenced]
There is no news about the double-deck type at the moment, but I predict it could be a new double-deck electric bus, hence the reason they haven't mentioned the end date for the contract.
