London Bus Tender Awards: New Electric Buses for Route D8

Transport for London has announced that Stagecoach will retain Route D8, featuring new double-decker electric buses.

LBSL intends to enter into new contracts for the following routes with the operators listed below:

New electric vehicles may enter service after the contract start date, depending on infrastructure and/or vehicle delivery timelines.

The hybrid vehicles meet Euro VI emissions standards.
