London Bus Tender Awards: Routes 5, 15 And N15 To Continue Using New Routemasters
The recent London Bus Tender Awards have revealed that routes 5, 15 and N15 will continue to use the three-door, two-staircase hybrid New Routemaster buses.
LBSL intends to enter into new contracts for the following routes with the operators listed below:

We’ll start off with Stagecoach who after losing routes 103 and 175 to Arriva London, have now lost their flagship routes 5, 15 and 115.

World’s first battery electric double deck bus enters service
I have a brief news
update on the London Bus scene for you all:
The first double deck
BYD K8SR electric bus BYD1473 (registration LJ16EZO), entered service on
Thursday 5th May on route 98 (Russell Square to Willesden
Gardens); it then operated the night service - N98 (Russell Square and Stanmore
Station). The following day on Friday, the rest of the three BYD double deck
electric buses entered service on route 98.

Change of operator for London Buses route 498
Recently there have been reports that Route 498 have been awarded to Stagecoach London from Go Ahead Blue Triangle.
But we might soon see the last of the Optare Olympus Scania N250UD buses for route 498 because Go Ahead London's contract will come to an end by 27th June 2015. Leaving it to Stagecoach East Londonwith new double decks to operate on route 498 for a new contract.

Where’s the double deckers for route 66?

Route 66 is a London Buses route that uses the A12 Eastern
Avenue road which links from Leytonstone to Romford Station. The route goes
parallel to the Central Line stations between Leytonstone to Newbury Park, then
it goes towards Romford station.

Go Ahead Blue Triangle Optare Olympus Scania N230UD
I have captured the two Scania N230UD Optare Olympus buses which used to be for the Metroline when it operated routes 54 and 75. So when the routes got passed to Stagecoach Selkent the 33 Scania Optare Olympus buses got transferred to Go Ahead which replaces the WVL's and PVL's at Blue Triangle Garage in Rainham.

Go Ahead London Enviro400 on route 498

I haven't posted an article about this video so I apologise.
Route 498 goes from Romford Queens Hospital to Brentwood.
The route contract novated from First London on 22/06/2013.
The route have a PVR of 6 buses and it operated by Go Ahead Blue Triangle from Rainham (BE) garage. The route usually have bus types of Alexander Dennis Enviro400 leased from First Group, Volvo B7TL Plaxton President from Northumberland Park Garage which used to be part of First Group and Go Ahead Wrightbus Gemini Volvo B7TL.
