London Bus Tender Awards: New Routemasters to Continue on Route 3, New Electric Buses for Routes 173/673, 292, 675, B12, and B15
Transport for London (TfL) has announced in the London Bus Tender Awards that route 3 will continue to use hybrid New Routemasters with three doors and two staircases. Routes 173/673, 292, 675, B12, and B15 will use new electric buses.

London Bus Tender Awards: Bus Operating Company Uno Wins Route 298 Contract
As this is a short London Bus Tender Award, small bus operating company Sullivan Buses loses route 298 contract to Uno (Universitybus Limited), which is owned by the University of Hertfordshire.

New Operator: Uno
Peak Vehicle Requirement: 6
Vehicles: Existing diesel double deck

Electrifying win for Stagecoach as London Bus routes 173 and 174 will be served using zero-emission double-deck electric buses!
Two routes serving Beckton, Dagenham, Chadwell Heath, King George’s Hospital, Romford and Harold Hill will be served with new zero-emission double-deck electric buses!

Popularity grows for the Enviro400 City as Uno launches for Comet services
Since the three-door two-staircase New Routemaster rollout is completed and there will be no more purchased by TfL, the legacy of the design lives on as more and more bus operators have gained interest with the Alexander Dennis Enviro400 City.
Hertfordshire bus operator Uno (formerly UniversityBus) which is owned by the University of Hertfordshire has rolled out Enviro400 City buses for routes 614 and 644 branded as Comet Bus.

Enviro400 City buses for Wheelers Travel and Uno Hertfordshire - and the last 17 New Routemasters with no route
The design of the Enviro400 City is increasing in popularity as Wheelers Travel purchased one Enviro400 City and University Bus (Uno) has purchased six of these Enviro400 City buses.

Bus operator Uno operates London Buses Route 383
Since Uno operate bus services that go across the Greater London Boundary in North London, they need a ‘London Service Permit’ which is needed in order to operate routes in North London.
