· 17th October 2020: Routes 173, 174, 296, 347, 496, 673, 674 & 675.
· 21st November 2020: Route 692/699.

New electric vehicles may enter service later than these dates owing to infrastructure delivery timescales.

I presume Stagecoach will be using Alexander Dennis-BYD Enviro400EV City for routes 173, 174 and school route 673. That potentially means the DNA of the New Routemaster is spreading further to the East of London, therefore it will be down to bus operator Stagecoach to adopt the glazed staircase design for the Enviro400EV City. I am also aware that Stagecoach has chosen not to use the glazed staircase design of the same bus type for their Manchester services.

I believe the newly awarded routes 256, 296, 347, 365, 496, and school routes 674, 675, should be served using zero-emission electric buses to combat pollution and reduce emissions.
