London Bus Tender Awards: School Route 632 to use three-door, two-staircase hybrid New Routemasters

With the start of May 2026, Transport for London (TfL) has announced that the bus operating company Metroline has retained routes 140, 182, 186, and 632.

LBSL intends to enter into new contracts for the following routes with the operators listed below:

Vehicles: Existing New Routemaster
Contract start date: 10th October 2026
Contract end date: 12th October 2029

The vehicles detailed above will meet Euro VI emissions standards.

Transport for London Freedom of Information release: TfL said DLR B92 train scrapping will resume once B23 units finish testing. Several B23 trains are at Beckton depot. Unit 143 is in service; 124 and 132 are unavailable, and 100 does not exist. tfl.gov.uk/corporate/tr...
